Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel offers beautiful, spacious rooms with a bathtub and shower, excellent location near trendy boutiques and markets, albeit not the traditional Japanese ryokan style. The service is warm and welcoming, though the inconvenience of the main door closing at midnight could be a drawback. The location is superb, being central to major sites and within walking distance to stylish stores and restaurants. The dining experience is delightful, especially during weekends. Overall, a great choice for exploring Kyoto with some minor drawbacks to consider.
Staying at this hotel was like stepping into a Japanese sanctuary - traditional, comfortable, and peaceful. The rooms, although spacious for two, lacked interesting views and were a bit run-down, leading to some noise issues at night. The service was friendly and inviting, but the inconvenience of the main door closing at midnight was a drawback. The location was ideal, close to major points of interest and perfect for exploring the hip stores and restaurants nearby. The dining experience was delightful, especially during the weekend stays. Overall, a place with great potential that could use some improvements.
